1st Gen - Piece in front of Rear Wheel Well?

Hello,

I just picked up a 88 with only 40k miles on it. It is near perfect except for the black plastic piece in front of the passenger rear wheel well is missing. It is at the bottom of the front of the arch. Does anyone know what that is called or what the part number is or where to find it?

just check craigslist , people are always parting them out , should be able to find one , how about a location

Ha ha! You're right, you're right! They really are, I just couldn't bear to put them back on when I repainted, so I had the holes welded shut. But they are a T4R trademark!

I thought it was about the little piece that's mounted in front of each rear fender?

My bad, we do need to get back on topic, but I was originally talking about that plastic piece ahead of the fenderwell opening as well.

Yeah, the finger pointing cracks me up too! I didn't realize the previous owner was doing it at the time, but there it is in the very first pic!

Nobody ever gave that part a name. I think it's a "gravel guard." When I took mine off there was no steel behind it anymore. I've deleted them for now. The rust has been fixed. I just need to paint.
