1st gen - screw inserts for rear carpet trim

Odd question, I searched several sites trying to find the screw/ nut inserts that are used in the rear of the bed to mount the trim piece that secures carpet. There are 5 square holes at the back of the bed. Anyone??

I have a wrecked 2nd gen...i may be able to rustle up some tan ones Monday.

You can usually find stuff like that on a 'Dorman' rack at a local auto parts

I assumed he meant carpet in the cargo area, at the rear piece of trim.

Corrected, incorrect terminology for the 4Runner, should be 'cargo area'. The site Mikekfr is an awesome site for automotive clips, it just doesn't have a clip for the 28 year old 4Runner.

Sorry, I was being a goof. I knew what you meant, I was just making fun of you for still having carpet back there. You may have a 'cargo area', but mine's a truck bed dammit and I use it like one.

Check out The 4Runner House, he's got about fifty trucks parted out on his shelves and may have what you need.

I'm going to go drive it some tomorrow, i'll see if there's any left inside. It had been thoroughly pillaged prior to my getting it though. If there's any there, you can have them.
