I joined up here a while last winter when I bought a ‘96. I now have an ‘89 as I wanted a convertible toy, and FJ40s are insanely priced. It’s a V6 auto with OME suspension and 31-10.50 BFGs. I’m going to leave it pretty mild, but may go to 33-10.50s and build a winch bumper for my 8247. Some sort of Bimini/bikini top for summer will come at some point too.

Thanks for the compliment. Sorry, no build thread. I've used this site for many years, searching for tips and tricks to build my 4Runner. Thought it was time to go ahead and post some stuff about it.
Stats: 5-inch lift, locker, bunch of Marlin Crawler stuff, and hydro-assist steering.

Now that's a f#@king heartbreak, and I know how you feel. Mine was stolen from my driveway back in 2010. Got it back a week later, and by a miracle, still driveable. I sincerely hope you are as lucky as I was.

So picked this little gem up last week for 1500.00. Only 170k super clean inside and out. Everything works and she runs great. Only issue is shaking under braking. I did a front brake job, replaced everything so it's not warped rotors. No pulsing in the pedal either. The shake is the whole vehicle not the steering wheel. I'm perplexed.
