2" Body Lifts

the only extension i had to deal with was the steering extension. there is adjustment on the shifter linkage itself which you can access if you get under the truck. all u have to do is loosen it and slide it over. when doing this its good to have someone else in the car and telling you what gear its in.

forgot about that. you are correct. i wish i knew about that before i installed the body lift. i havent really looked into trying to take mine out yet. anyone have any ideas?

Supposedly you can bend the winch bracket so that it is the right angle. Im gonna try it when i get my body lift on. Probably gonna take the spare tire out first though just in case.

On my 2" BL, if you just remove the rear bumper plastic trim, you can fit the hand crank in between the body and the bumper. It lines up with the tire winch almost perfectly.

Thanks! I installed my 2" BL a couple weeks ago. Didnt even think about the spare until I was reading this thread just now!!

Cant you just drill new mounting holes in the 99+ front bumper and have it mount up lock stock?

Thats what I did, I just redrilled holes and it looks perfect.
