I ordered from that eBay seller and had it in 3 days! Shipped by FEDEX .
I'm having a hell of a time finding a locksmith to cut it though .
Dealership isn't an option , they either won't do it or want to charge too much . Last time I had house keys cut at a big box store they didn't work. Not gonna chance it with this one.
Couple locksmith shops near me won't touch car key fobs, I'm told these need special equipment.
Going to have to keep looking around , my Acura TSX has a nice flip key and it would be sweet to have the same for the T4R. OEM fobs feel low-rent LOL

One of the guys here did take the fob apart to get the blade out. It sounded like it made it easier for the locksmith to cut it.
Hope it works out for you. Still loving mine. Still on the original battery as well!

It's now working and quite nicely I might add !
Had to take it to an auto key specialist , luckily he was nearby and reasonably priced.
I did remove the key blade and tried another locksmith but it wouldn't sit in his key cutter properly. I think a lot of these Locksmiths are using 50 year old equipment LOL
I had to try a couple different key fob programming methods. This one ended up working for my 2004 4.0 V6 Limited

My 4Runner came with 1 valet key and 1 aftermarket remote. The pro/con of this is that it was it came with a remote start. While, it was nice to have, I have accidentally started the car 4 times and thankfully caught it each time.
I call the dealer and ask how much it is to get a new master key made. The tell me they’d have to re-seed the ECU and make a new key. It’d take 2 hours so I’d be looking at $200 plus the cost of the key. I kinda expected something like that based on the forums, but then I said ‘fck it’ and called a local locksmith. They had the capability to make a new master key and re-seed the ECU! I went this weekend, got a new master key made, had the ECU reset and added my switchblade style key for a cool $60. The entire process took 10 minutes.

Went to a small locksmith shop across the street from where I work.
Asked the guy if he could cut this for me:
" I can try, but we don't guarantee any automobile keys"
I said go ahead and after a bit of fiddling, he got it set in the machine and started grinding!
Charged me $6 and said have a good day.
Some ppl are just di*ks I guess...

How did you get it programmed? I have the buttons to work but don't you still have to plug something into the OBD2 port to accept the key?

Yes, there are two steps to programing it. You have done the button programing, but you still need to register it with the computer.
There are step by step instructions in this thread on how to do it yourself as well.
Just realized it is 10 pages long though....I'll try to find what post # it's in, if you don't beat me to it.
But you do not need to plug anything in for the 2nd step.

I got my flip key on ebay a couple of weeks ago for $40 and was able to have the stealership cut (off of the vin) and program the chip for $55. Not to bad, really! I programmed the buttons and they all work just how they are supposed to on an OEM fob.

I finally got my key cut at the local Home Depot for free. They have a laser key cutting machine that is very accurate. Make sure to program the key and remote yourself, then go to your local HD and ask them to just cut the key.

His eBay profile says he is away until the 16th. I sent him a message, so we'll see if I get any response. He is very highly rated, so I'm hoping to get at least a replacement.
