I just got mine in the mail. The place where yours broke off...on mine it has a small pin that hold it to the inner guts. Maybe that can be fixed?
I'm guessing the transponder is inside the remote?

I believe you can get a blank blade, have it cut, and swap it out. Should be pretty cheap.

My update: 10+ mos. - No issues, still on orig batteries.

So the seller sent me 2 blanks immediately after notifying him. They arrived 12 days later. Took one to get cut. Popped the pin out of the fob that holds the key in place, dropped in the new key, good as new.
Still satisfied, especially after the seller didn't BS and shipped new blanks right away.

Always looking for new ways to make my key ring Smaller for my Pocket....
Picked up this Beauty to replace my oem Fob and Key....
Got it cut by a lock smith for $3 and had ny buddy at the dealership program it for me
Old and bulky...
Much smaller and more compact. All buttons work just the same!

I had no idea how many keys were already registered with my immobilizer, but my first and second attempt at adding the new key did not work. On the step where it asks you to insert the new key and wait for 1 minute, my immobilizer light never stopped blinking.
I took this to as a sign that I must already have the maximum of 5 keys programmed, so I performed the erase procedure using my original master key. After that, I was able to add the new key.
I then went back and erased all of my registered remotes as well and only re-registered the ones in my possession.
