Hello guys, Noob to 4runners here buy very mechanically inclined.
I have an 03 4runner V6 and when we bought it, it had a small leak
on the transmission dipstick where it meets up in the middle.
#1 Is a grommet of some sort supposed to keep it together? Or did the weld break? I macguyvered it with a rubber piece i found in my garage and it
no longer leaks, but my wife drives it and Id like to get the right part.
#2 when we reverse after it sitting for awhile, the brakes squeal bad. Are there emergency drum brakes on these vehicles? What do you think could
cause this? It doesnt do it forward, just in reverse.
