I was wondering if anyone was thinking about buy a set of the new 20" wheels from the 5th gen and putting them on your 4th gen? I was thinking about the 18" 06-09 wheels but now I'll probably wait longer for the 20" wheels if they look good enough.

I've got 20" on my 4th Gen and I think they're just the right size. Not too much sidewall, but enough to handle offroad situations. I'm not sure about the 5th Gen 20s since I haven;t seen them in person.

Here are some pics:

I have the XSP Package on my 4th Gen. It came with 20's from the factory. I love em. Seem to go very well with the T4R.

Great looking truck. Do you have any lift on yours. I have the XSP package on mine and it came with 20's from the factory and BFG KDW on it. I want to go with a more aggresive tire. Just wondering if you had to lift to go with the taller tire or not.

no lift yet. I'd like to get a leveling kit, but I'm trying to figure out how much higher I want the front (I'm thinking 1.5-2", but I cant seem to find a front kit for that).

Eventually, I'll probably swap out the XREAS with some Bilstiens and springs, or maybe coilovers, but I'll probably wait until these crap out before I do that.

Love the black 4runners :)

drbiii, do you know if the tubular running boards are an easy switch out for the regular flat ones? I have a 2006 SR5, but really like the tubular boards...

Yup, I'm running them on mine, and I have an 04 sr5.
