So I finally got my 4runner back from the shop after almost a month for them to do the head gasket. The last excuse they gave me was that they were having trouble with the timing.
It runs fine but I noticed it is down on power. The freeway goes up a 7% grade near my house. I used to be able to accelerate to 80mph on it, now I can only get up to 70. What could be wrong and what can I check? It seems like it is timing related, but how do I adjust it?
