You should only be able to press each belt down at it's longest point by about 1/2" or less.
Sometimes the belts need to be tighter than you think. If it sounds like a belt it most likely is.
But:
I have heard worn clutches make a similar squeal when worn to the rivets, it's the brass rivets running on the steel of the flywheel/pressure plate.
I'd be pretty pissed if the clutch actually wore out that fast. If the soap doesn't stop the noise I'll be giving them a call to see what's up with that
