Somehow the plastic 'mount' of the cable where it enters the transmission is broken... I cannot find the part number for this donkey and was hoping that someone can help out the OEM part number for the entire cable assembly as it is one big piece.
Here is a photo of the cable (this one is from a 2wd, mine is the 4x4..no difference in cable I believe)

On a side note, does anyone have a spare in good shape they want to sell?
2000 4x4 SR5 4runner auto.

Thanks!

After trying to figure out why my accelerator suddenly became hard to press, I found that the plastic mount where the kickdown cable mounts to the transmission broke.

I see the part number posted above. I'm planning on starting to take stuff apart tomorrow to figure out how to replace it, but I am wondering if anyone has done this and can give me any information on what is required to replace this cable.

Here's a link to a 2000 FSM: 2000 4Runner FSM - Printable - Google Drive
Click in section 25 and then AT-16 is the replacement procedure for the cable. You'll have to remove the transmission pan and valve body in order to access the cable inside the transmission.
