i have a chirping in gear and in nuetral with the clutch depressed, the chirping is relative to the rpms while driving and reving in nuetrel and it disappears with the cluth very slightly pressed (barely need to press it). i also have a loud squeaking in reverse after letting go of the gas when the truck is slowing down, the squeak sounds like a kreeking door being closed and opened rapidly the sound also dissappears after the clutch is pressed. this also happens in first gear but not as loud.
ive done some reading on a lotus elise forum and it seems i have pressure plate problems or a simple slave cylinder issue.
Can someone please help!! i dont want my tranny to crack on me if its the pressure plate!
