just today after starting up my truck to warm it up when I went back out the doors were locked. I opened the door with my spare key and after getting in the doors locked(no auto lock on truck) and then sporadically was trying to lock as I was going about. buttons and FOB work fine it seems a computer problem but I don't know never experienced this problem ever any ideas would be appreciated

Odd. I would start by checking the wiring to the drivers door where it goes into the door, look for broken wires. It could be a wiring grounding out causing the doors to lock. Do you have an alarm either dealer installed or aftermarket?

Mine did that to me one day while sitting in it in a parking lot. I chalked it up to an anomaly and it hasn't happened since.

This may not do anything, but free and doesn't take long. A few years back I was having some strange door lock issues that lasted for a few months. I had to disconnect my battery for something, and after I connected it back up the locks started working normally again and haven't acted up since. Disconnect the battery for about half an hour, then connect again - worth a shot.
