2001-2002 4Runner Limited, when did the wood color change??

I know for 1996-2000, the limited factory wood color was the SAME. In 2001 or 2002, the factory wood color changed to a darker shade. Was that change done in 2001 or 2002?

anywho i assume you are talking about the stick on wood inserts? i have never seen them on 00-02, my 00 has the fake wood (plastic look like wood) but its the plastic trim pieces.

was this like a dealer option back then?

Daughter's 99 and 2000 both had them. I looked at a 2001 and it looked to be the same shade as the earlier models.

It is, back from the dead No, I'm talking about the OEM trim that comes in any and every "Limited" model, which is actually molded pieces of wood looking trim...

Ok, I figured this out. The "Limited" wood color changed in 2001 to a slightly darker burl. Same grain, just a few shades darker. I'm helping a guy add more pieces and needed to figure out what year the change was...
