2001 Pics & Questions

I found a 2001 Limited, with 94,900 Miles. Everything on it works, except I'm unsure how to operate the Electronic air/fan controls, the green A/C light will not turn off. Is there a fuse for this or is this a common problem, some of the buttons on it do nothing, others only work after a very hard press. Yes I searched.

I believe I got a really good deal on this... Not sure what its worth though, obviously as much as someone will pay...

Common for the electronic climate controls to mess up. Not cheap to replace but there is a guy around who apparently repairs them for like 90 bucks. I set mine and try not to mess with it too much as it works fine as of now. Rig looks good

are you sure it's 01? my 01 has a different A/C climate control panel. look at photo. mine was built 12/00. perhaps the panel is going bad.

OP has a limited with electronic climate control. You've got SR5 01thunder. I wish my limited had the basic turn knobs to be honest.

Climate Control Fix !

I decided to carefully remove the climate control and see what it looked like inside, it has two circuit boards, connected with a ribbon cable, easy to take apart, you can have it on a work bench in 30 minutes or less. A friend help me ohm everything out and all was fine, but we still simply "re-soldered" all the connections on the board that's has the control buttons. I left the other circuit board alone. Plugged it in and everything works perfect, easy fix. I saw a guy on Ebay who does this for 70.00 and knew it couldn't be too difficult if folks are advertising lifetime warranties with their repairs.
