2001 T4R , need help!

Hello all, im new to posting here but I come here from time to time. I bought an 01 t4r with chk engine light in, vsc trac on as well, abs too. When I checked with obd, code p1135 came up. Then I took it for a 27pt inspection at the Toyota dealer. they said I have a/f sensor heater circuit malfunction and fluid leaking from rear axle and power steering flush. on the way back, the car kept shutting off on me? I'm thinking that the technician at the dealership must have left something disconnected as it never had a shutting off issue. The car wasn't overheating and there is oil? is it possible that the code p1135 could be shutting the car off? please feel free to help me dissect my problems and possible answers or solutions or anything to help me out, with all these issue, which issue to address first etc.

It's possible that the a/f sensor is causing you runner to die. all though I've personly never seen it, it's very well possible. If you can I'd pull the dtc's again and see if there is another code stored if not then id start you the known problem first and if the problem still exist then you should dig further to see what is causing the problem. There is many diffent things that could cause your vehicle to stall

Thanks for your quick response. This is indeed a very good forum. I didn't really expect a response until tomorrow. I parked the car at a lexus dealership close to where it started to stall and got a ride home. I will get back to it and check if any other codes. do you all have suggestion about axle fluid leak? or power steering flush? what else could cause it to stall?

i got a p1135 code this winter. i replaced mine from one from amazon for around 100 and plug and play, did it myself in 15 min when it was super cold outside.

I have no first hand knowledge on these issues as I myself haven't ran into them *knocks on wood* but I have ran into a few threads regarding rear axle leaks. You might want to scan through these and see if it helps answer your question ->Rear Axle Leak Search

If the tech cleared the code then it took the TR4 out of wht I call safe mode but I forget the term but its a default for the engine to run no matter what spec it receives from the sensors.

Got to the car this morning with a gallon of gasoline. And it started right up. Got the denso sensor 179 at o'reilly's, the rear axle seal is leaking, part is 6 bucks but the shop wants 150 for labor, which I don't have now, so I will hold off on that for now. The power steering pressure line is leaking and a little rust underneath. I decided to fix sensor and replace rear shocks today. Any suggestions for rust, power steering and rear axle seal. I'm in ga if anyone knows a good and reasonably inexpensive shop to get this done. Thanks again for all the responses. Great to know there are a lot of good folks online
