2002 4Runner, what size tires?

The tires on my 2002 4Runner Sport, 4WD are P265/70R16. These are 16" tires, is it possible to install 17" tires on the 4Runners?

I have an opportunity to get a free set of 17" tires in good shape that were taken off a late 2006ish Toyota minivan.

Um, they are not going to fit. Minivans have 5-lug rims. You have 6.

But it is possible to fit 17's off of a Tundra/Sequoia with 6-lug rims.

Depending on the exact size of the 17" tires they may or may not fit your 4runner(minivan tires more than likely would). But you must have 17" wheels to fit a 17" tire, not 16's. Buying wheels just to take advantage of running the free tires probably wouldnt benefit you.

If what you meant was you have access to the 17" wheels AND tires off the minivan, we would need to know the offset/backspacing of the wheel as well as the exact tire size. More than likely it would be a higher offset than what you would want to put on your 4runner.
