Nope. Straight up. I have 2014 17" FJ Wheels on my 4Runner.

That is great! I will order the wheels and lugs tomorrow along with the Continental Cross Contact LX20 tires I want. I wanted a true 'summer highway' tire but could not find one.
Say, both of my sons live in Vegas -- I go out occasionally. Crazy place.

That's correct John. I am relegating my punky OEM wheels to winter use only, and I have had great success with the Firestone Winter Force tires. They wear like iron but they are noisy. I have Blizzak's all around on my Yota sedans. Great tire but pricey.

Ive lived here for 14 years now...it can be crazy, but mostly just for visitors. It is actually a very nice place to live once you get past the Strip.

Thank you all for your support. I made my decision and bought the wheels yesterday -- the gray ones. John at TRD Parts 4U was very helpful and even told me that one of the members of their off road club who has a 4R like mine in Millennium Silver has the same wheels in black. He said his friend has black steel brush bumpers front and back so the whole look is coordinated. Also, if you ask they will give you a coupon code for an additional discount at checkout. I bought my exhaust system from them and I think they are the best.
Maybe when (if) the ice melts over here and I can get those wheels installed I will take a photo and post it. It will be a few months though.

Brique: This Forum and Yotatech was so valuable to me when I was building my truck, which I started immediately after buying it in 2002. I did a lot all at once but when the economy froze I backed off. I think getting back to careful detailing of my truck and the addition of these TRD wheels will be a good alternative to spending ~$43K for a new 4R LTD. I am sure your truck will look great with the 'black' wheels. Have fun whatever you do.

I just received my wheels and I have a question. Have any of you who have the TRS beadlock ring wheels had any issues with the tiny screws used to attach the rings to the rims? The screws are coated with blue locktite. I ask the question because I was thinking I should get some 'spares' of the screws and rings, maybe the center caps too.
I have never owned beadlock ring wheels but it is obvious that the tires are mounted to the rims without the rings in place. Are the wheels also highspeed balanced with or without the rings installed? I go to a garage that has the hunter road force GSP9700 machine.
Now all I have to do is decide on which highway rated tire to match with the wheels. These wheels will not see snow. I am open to suggestions. Right now I am pondering Firestone Destination LE2 and Continental CrossContact LX20 with EcoPlus Technology.
