Hello-I have 2003 4runner the Headlights don't seem to be bright enough lately.
Friend recommend HID bulbs, tried to find which would be the right ones.
Can anyone help with the pick?

Thank you
Nelson

HID's will be much brighter, but because of the lens in the '03-'05 4Runners you will be blinding all the oncoming drivers. Unless you want to do a headlight retrofit or switch to the '06-'09 headlights i would just get a set of Silverstars.

HID's are good, but as mentioned will blind people. If you dont' want to go all out, look into a pair of Silverstar Ultras, I got some on amazon for my fogs and high beams for like $35 a set

Not really a fan of the Silver stars due to the extremely short life span (though maybe the ultras have improved that). Go with a PIAA hyper white or similar. They are more expensive but last tons longer.

SO far so good with my Silverstar. I just replaced my old lightbulbs with these Silverstar that came in my other car. It's 2 years old and a bit better, whiter birghter than the old yellow factory.

My headlights are incredibly bright with the stock lamps so just replacing the old bulbs with some new ones will probably do the trick unless your lens is starting to yellow in which case you might want to get one of those refurbishing kits to fix them up.

They definitely improved them

I had a set of plug and play HID's waiting to be installed in my fogs, and I was waiting for one of the bulbs (silverstars) to burn out, they lasted like 4 years, and were still good when I traded the truck in for the one I have now
