Exhaust Tip

Chris, is the exhaust tip you have on your 4Runner a Toyota accessory or aftermarket part, Stainless or Chrome?
Thanks,
Robert

You said your web site is under construction, but I thought it was wonderful. Good write ups. Also, your 4Runner is looking really great.:D

Hey Impulsebrklyn,

how do you like those Image Dynamics separates? I haven't purchase seperates in a number of years....last time some Boston Pros. I always liked my Bostons once I got the tweater positioned correctly. I want go listen to several different brands, just don't know where to start.

I'm thinking about an Alpine 9815HU, JL 450/4 or 300/4 running amp running the fronts and bridged in the rear for a sub, some kind of front seperates, mid-level coaxs for the back and then a custom sub box under the double decker lid.....probably JL's....thinking about an 8w7...small enclosure size and most likely more than enough bass for me.

I'm needing help on picking out some separates...Focals, MB, ??? Any suggestions in the up to $500-600 range to go listen to?

DVD Navigation

Thank you for posting those pages from the manuals!!! Good info! Do your manuals mention anymore information on the DVD Navigation system? I just happened to get my hands on a system out of another 2003 Toyota but I need part numbers for the mounting brackets, and I believe I need a cable that goes to the back of the navigation ECU. Any info you can provide would be great.

Thank you,

JW
:)

sorry for the delay its best to send me an im on aim at thermalovr im on all the time

Dude
I love the ids i have, very clear. The tweeter isnt in the best spot but i can live with that. The tweeter could be alittle smoother, but its only on certain songs I hear it, and they are mp3's so i cant give a good representation on that.

Focal (be careful of the mounting depth)
CDT
Rainbow(there speakers are hard to find) German Made
Image dynamics
Dynaudio
Diamond Audio HEX
Oz Audio

there in no specific order but i should have to most recommend the focal utopia's. Your gonna have a hard time trying to find any 500-600 speaker to listen to.

Webshot
Sorry there are no part numbers for mounting brackets or cables. GO to you local toyota they should help you out.

Chris

Thanks Chris,

Had another question for you or anybody with the Toyota Navigation, has anyone pulled off the back cover over the nav ecu and noticed how many plugs are running to it?

Thank you,

JW
