2003 4Runner V6 Catalytic Converter Issue HELP

2003 4Runner with 172k both of my cats coming off the manifold are bad, heat tested at multiple exhaust shops. I don't really want to spend the cash to replace these Cats due to cost. Is there a quick fix? I live in FL they don't check emissions. I want the CEL, VSC, and Trac lights to come off because I keep going through Oxygen Sensors every 6 months due to the high heat burning up the Oxygen Sensors.

If your cats are running too hot, it might be a problem with the fuel mixture going to the engine. If the mixture is too rich, the excess un burnt fuel in the exhaust going to the cats will cause them to overheat.

I have used all grades of fuel with the same end results. I think my cats are bad and very clogged up.

It may be that your cats are clogged, but the problem I was talking about, the fuel mix going to your engine, has nothing to do with the grade of fuel. It has to do with how the computer is controlling the amount of fuel the injectors are feeding your engine, which is the result of how the computer is interpreting signals from various sensors on or about the engine.

How do I fix a clogged cat? Replace them with new ones which can be expensive. Maybe a universal cat could work or should I just cut them off completely. Looking to clear my dash of the cel, trac and vsc lights
