2003 Toyota 4Runner V8 Sport Edition 4WD – Galactic Gray Mica, 153,XXX miles, moon roof, running boards, cargo cover, roof rack, splash guards, hitch receiver, 6 CD in-dash changer, auto-dimming rear view mirror, fog lights, Bridgestone Dueler AT REVO 2 tires with approximately 10K miles of wear left, stainless steel Gibson Cat-Back Exhaust (June 2014). Original owner, great condition, interior is clean (non-smoker, no pets). All major service done by dealer: Timing Belt and water pump replaced at 90K miles, Iridium spark plugs replaced at 99K miles, Trans fluid changed at 128K miles, front brake pads and rotors replaced at 139K miles. November 2015 State Inspection and oil change - rear pads and rotors replaced (149K miles). It has never been off-road but locking center diff and 4LO have been exercised and are functional. I am listing it here first as I would really like it to go to a 4Runner enthusiast. $8900 -->$8400 --> $7900 or best reasonable offer. Please email me at [email protected] if you have any questions. I appreciate the feedback. I'm happy to take pics of anything anyone wants to see anywhere in or on the vehicle. There is some surface rust underneath, but no cancer.

This looks like a great truck and would like to pull the trigger, but does anyone with a bit more experience evaluating underbody / frame rust mind weighing in? Total neophyte here trying to assess whether frame rust seen in pictures is superficial or indicative of more serious issues. Thanks for your thoughts!

What I can tell you is that I got a tour of the bottom a few months back with a mechanic when I had it in for inspection and we took a look at everything together. He told me rust was not a concern. It has never let me down, everything works, and I will go over every single thing I know about it with anyone who wants more information.
