Alright guys and gals.. I have been searching for the past 2 hours and can't for the life of me find a wiring diagram I am in need off.. the only ones I am finding are for non full time 4wd models with the front ADD diff... (not sure if there is a a difference??)
Long story short.. I need to figure out what all the wires are on the actuator plug (I may have found this already) as well as where they come from on the 4wd ECU pin out AND how the 4HI/4LO selector switch plays into the equation.
I am on a swapped FJ T-case and am have removed the 4hi/lo switch, and obviously don't have the actuator anymore. Only things I have done wiring wise is to use the Center Diff Lock dash indicator wire to indicate that I'm in 4wd, and using the 4lo indiciator to indicate when the FJ Tcase is in 4Lo. I'm doing this by just splicing the 2 position sensors from the FJ tcase into the 2 necessary wires..
This leaves me with with the VSC /TRAC lights on the dash, and I'm assuming I have no skid control active due to the errors the 4wd ECU is seeing without getting the limit switch positions from the actuator.
I am also guessing that since this positioning is accomplished via internal limit switches on the actuator that I could fairly easily rig up the necessary wires to push the status signals to the correct wires as I manually shift the case.
I have tried doing the 0 point calibration but it doesn't work out and I believe it throw some sort of a blinking code from the 4wd ECU (again, presumably because the actuator and/or the switch are removed).
Anyhow.. Not looking for a resolution to my problem, just curious to know if anyone has a wiring diagram I could take a look at to see if I can decipher this logic..
