2004 Police Style Push bar with Hellas and Rigid lights

Hey guys,
Just finished installing my Police Style push bar on my 2004 SR5... I love the look and functionality of this thing!! and it only cost me $140 bucks on ebay!!
I mounted two Hella 500 Driving lights on the outside, and had to drill two more holes on the inside for the Rigid Industries Dually Fog lights...

Info for the Push Bar...
3 cross bars that are fully welded...
It mounts directly to the frame/bumper bar with bolts and brackets... just had to remove the pop-clips that hold the rubber splash guards inside the grill area.

I'm not a fan of bull bars, grill guards etc... but that one looks kinda nice.

Nope, no need to modify the front suspension... it doesn't really hang down any lower than the front tow hooks... may affect approach angle, but i don't do that much hardcore off roadin...

No rattles at all! this thing is built to ram stuff! huge bolts to tighten down and adjust the distance of the bar from the bumper.

I'll add some more pics later, and try to scan the exploded view of the instructions to show the brackets, etc...
 
The more I look the more I like! :boink:

I've searched high and low and have found a couple company's that manufacture these but none for the 5th gen :moping:
 
You have a link to the ebay page you bought this from? Would like to look into it a little more, love the look of it!
 
I purchased one after seeing this thread, I had been looking for one for a long time myself but I notice that there were no installation instructions just a parts list wit a picture and also the lower brackets don't align with the holes on my runner. Did you take any pictures of your install?

I'm still waiting to hear back from the seller about the brackets. Once I hear back I'll make sure to let everyone know. I'm wondering if maybe there is a difference between the 2003-05 4th Gens and my 07. I know that the seller stated that it will fit my 07 but I'm wondering if they are wrong. I'm just hoping they packed the wrong brackets.

Did you figure out the brackets?? Looking at the pic below it seems like the bracket should go under the bumper mount with the long bolts coming up through it (see bracket on the left), you have it on the top of the bumper mount. Not sure but worth a try.

Thanks for the info Qjake! That makes a hell of a lot more sense. I was frustrated and didn't think of that at all.:ybrick: I'll try to give it a go again hopefully this weekend while my brother is here.
 
It looks unfinished IMO. I don't know if I'm really feeling that bar. I think 4 lights would be better than those little ones.
