2004 Windshield Upper Reveal molding...missing??

Hey guys,

I notices a little leak, well, some water trails coming down the inside center of my windshield, and couldn't figure out why...

I noticed there is about a 1/4 gap on the outside of my windshield, looks like the weatherstrip was pulled out by a carwash or something...

Anybody got a pic of their upper windshield molding and what it's supposed to look like before I go spend $30 on an un-needed part??

anybody out there? wondering if anybody has an 04 with the top of the windshield weatherstrip missing? is there supposed to be a 1/4" gap at the top of the windshield??

There is supposed to be a rubber molding there.. you can only buy the set from Toyota (top and the side rubber pieces) for about $150. I haven't had much luck finding that rubber weatherstrip in small quantities at a local store. Best thing to do is contact an automotive glass company to have them install one for you. They will run a bead of sealant adhesive and install the rubber weatherstrip in no time.

Let me know if you still need pics. I can take some after work. I went through this route before since the windshield company cut up the factory weatherstrip when they replaced my windshield. I had them replace it with a generic weatherstrip for free.
