You wont be able to get more power AND better fuel economy. . . . .at least any noticable amount.

Actually a mod such as an air intake will increase both mpg and power because it feeds the engine more air allowing it to use less fuel. This is especially effective when done with a good exhaust system too and i've heard of some people getting up to a 15% increase in mpg
