The gold is probably [MENTION=73750]Dusty Driftwood[/MENTION]. I've got a white '04 out in Wildwood. Us 4th gens should definitely have a meet-n-greet sometime soon.

Driftwood Pearl boys, NOT gold.:target:
But, Caps is right, that's probably me. I live in Maryland Heights by Creve Coeur Park.

The front grille, back hatch trim, badges and wheels are all plasti-dipped. The roof rack is a Rola Basket w/o extension.

I said gold because it's a gold-ish color! :( I can't ever seem to remember if 03-05 is dorado gold and 06-09 is driftwood pearl and vice versa lol
 
Well gentleman, lemme know if/when/where you guys would like to meet up. Once my new sliders and my skid show up in the mail I'll finally have a little something to show off.

Nice looking 4runner. Was curious if u were gonna sell the hitch? If so I would be interested. Can't pm u cuz I'm a new member is there another way I can get ahold of u

Thank you for the offer, Jeff! I have no use for the box but I'm sure someone will swoop that thing up in a heartbeat.
 
I'm still waiting on my sliders from WKO, but they should be here soon. Once I receive them I will powder-coat them first then Line-X over the powder coat and install them!

Why not just use traditional paint and then linex? You cant touch up powder coat like you can with paint. Not to mention that its a hell of a lot cheaper just to use paint.

My buddy owns Gateway Powdercoating, so it's not a big deal.

In addition, I can't Line-X the mounts of the sliders that mate up with the frame because the U-bolts aren't long enough even though the Line-X only adds a little more than an 8th of an inch so they will be powdercoated.

So if that's not confusing enough I will Line-X almost all of the sliders but the mounts will have to stay powdercoated.

Also, once I get my Gibson exhaust next month I'll have them ceramic coat that puppy to prevent any rust.

Sliders come in tomorrow. In the meantime, I identified a rusted out catalytic converter clamp that was the cause of all my jingle and rattle!
