2005 limited 4Runner and baby arriving soon!

We'll have a baby arriving mid year and I'm preparing now to protect my 4runner interior... I thought I'd ask to see if anyone knew about some decent seat covers to protect the leather on the back 4Runner seats (not 3rd row). I've been searching around and being this is our first child I have no clue if the baby seat will attach in the center of the back seat? Will it? Any ideas on ways to protect the leather seats with covers being the baby seat will be back there? I'm already going to purchase the weathertech floor mat to protect the entire back floor.

I too have a '05 Limited and we have 2 kids, I have done everything you can believe to keep the leather seats looking new but found that just conditioning and cleaning the leather will do the trick. We bought a non-slip mat to go under the car seat and yes that does catch most of the stuff but other than that keep it cleaned and conditioned and your golden.

As for positioning your babies car seat, you want to put it behind the passanger seat with baby facing backwards...put a mirror on the headrest and your fine. I found that when i instal the base you have to elevate the rear of the base to get the proper angle for the car seat and I did so with rolling up some old news papers very tight and dict taping it....this process was done by my local fire dept to achieve the angle, i just repeated it the second go around.
