2005 limited with JBL system....aux?

Hey guys and gals,

I'm sure there has been a thread about this but I'm having trouble locating it but I have a 2005 limited with the JBL system and I want to add a aux output so I can hook up a iPod/iPhone and I don't want one of those cheap tape deck things. I'd like the sound to be through the system like through RCA's or how ever u do it now. I was told at "best buy" that they can do this for very cheap but I'd like a second opinion.

Let me know what you have done, or how it was done. I do want to retain the stock radio but just want the jack in the consol.

I have the same truck that I installed a USA SPEC adapter that has both a ipod jack and a standard AC hook up so I can use my EVO phone for pandora. It cost about $100 and you can install yourself in about 30 min. SUPER EASY. Plus you have your steering wheel controls too. I got mine off of Crutchfield.

I also have a 2005 with JBL but no "changer plug" on the back of the headunit. Do you guys have a JBL system with the USA-Spec?

Yes. I have the JBL with Nav. Not sure how the other head units are in the back but I don's see how it cant work. The plus is pretty much a jumper to the existing plug in the back of the unit.

I have the JBL without nav, and it was a simple plug-and-play operation.
