2005 V8 4lo & dif lock flashing

Had an issue today where when the truck was in park my 4Lo & Center dif lock lights were flashing, attempted to put it into 4lo (no luck) hit the diferential lock button (no luck) shut the truck off and restarted it lights no longer flashed, went into 4lo without issue and center dif lock worked without issue. Never had this happen before and I'm 6K away from drivetrain warranty expiration

Any ideas?

Its usually just a misread from one of the shift sensors. My 4lo light came on once while I was doing 80mph in 2wd. I just drove the rest of the 15 miles home and turned the car off and it reset itself. Hasn't happened again in the 1.5 yrs since. I have been using 4hi and 4lo a lot more since then tho. My theory is the more you use it the better it works.
