2006 4Runner 4.7 V8 Jerking / Stuttering at Idle and Accelaration

Today I was driving the family around and I noticed that my car was feeling a bit heavier than usual. I noticed that when I accelerated, the car felt as if it was heavy and slightly jerky. I live in Arizona so the AC was on and sometimes the engine can feel slightly jerky when stopped. As we continued to drive the car started jerking / Stuttering when idling or slowly accelerating. I immediately freaked out and thought that maybe the transmission was slipping but we noticed that this also occurred while in park. The car recently had the timing belt changed, and the sparks plugs were changed around a year ago with NGK's. I read somewhere that a dirty MAF can cause these issues or a dirty TBS. Since this is my daily driver, I am going to take it in to the dealer tomorrow, but I would like to know if any of you fine gentlemen have ever encountered this issue? Do the symptoms match dirty fuel injectors? I'm at a loss and currently freaking out about it.

I would suggest cleaning the MAF and checking that all connectors are plugged into the injectors and coils. Did you recently get gas? Could be bad fuel too.

I checked the connectors and coils and they seem to be plugged in properly. I got gas a couple of days ago and had no issues.

OP - any updates?
- Personally just noticing the same thing on mine too. I'm assuming the fuel filter, MAF, or O2 sensors(hoping it's not this!).

You probably think this is dumb, but did you use a different type of gas this time? I remember when I switched from 91 to 83, the car felt this way.

I think dirty TBS or fuel pump and/or filter might cause this
