2006 4Runner - Front End

Hi!
I am just learning how to do some of my own work on my 4Runner. Can anyone tell me what part this is and if the repair is something a novice could tackle? I think it is the CV boot. There is grease/fluid leaking from this boot area and it seems to be fairly significant. I appreciate your help!

CV Joint Boot. Search for it. Been covered a ton in this forum.

Most important thing is if it's torn or if it's just leaking from the clamp. If it's just leaking from the clamp then you can probably squirt some more grease in there and clamp it with a new clamp. If the boot is torn you'll need to replace it.

I was just reading the other thread...... My 2006 4Runner has 90,000 miles on it.....this does seem like an issue that should not be happening this soon, but I wasn't able to see if anyone wrote Toyota on the topic...
