Will the 2006 Center with the Aux Jack work in a 2003? What would I need to do to connect the Aux jack to a standard sr5 stereo? I came across a 2006 4Runner in a wrecking yard and noticed the aux jack, I had never seen one before and thought that it would be pretty nice to have in my truck. THanks Phil

Shouldn't be too expensive to pull it, so pull it and try it. You could also just swap stereos.

I did this a long time ago.... took a 2006 head unit and put it in my 2005.
If you swap the head unit, more than likely you will have to swap the molding around the head unit, the AC controls. And lastly the brackets behind the head unit. There may be some other things that have to be swapped out as well, but I cannot remember. I would suggest go pull as much as you can out of that 4runner in the junk yard. Then make the decision to swap them out.
Let us know what you decide.
