2006 headlights on a 2005

I want the '06 headlight housing because they have the projectors in them. Did Toyota actually use an HID bulb with the 2006 headlights or same halogen bulbs in a projector?
I'm wanting to buy a set I found from a 2006 but if they used the HID set up with those I'll have to do more than swap the housings. Thanks

Nope, no hid, and you will need to swap more than just the housing.

They are just projector lights with a halogen bulb. I have a 2006 and I just installed a 55watt 5000k HID kit from VVME.com. SUCH an improvement!! The 5000k is straight white and projects straight daylight at night
