2006 limited climate control issue

My runner is having a problem. I noticed when i have the heater or defrost running I'm still getting cool air from the driver's side vent, passenger side is also still open with air coming out, but the air is slightly warmer over there. I have the dual climate control in my truck.

Has anyone had this problem?

Thanks

So I smacked the dash today and it seems to be functioning as normal, so I suspect servo motors? Since I have dual zone I imagine there is an extra layer of complexity, the only outlier beimg I have none of the typical clicking noise associated with servos.

Ok so this issue popped up again, and from what I can tell the servo is moving fine. So what else do you guys suspect it could be? I know my AC compressor is making some noise and will need to be replaced in the near future. Does that sound plausible?

Perhaps BlackWorksInc could chime in? :)

I'm not entirely sure what the complaint is... are you saying that it is different on both sides or that the blend air/direction doors are acting funny?

Sorry I think the OP was poorly worded, I typed it up on my phone.

The symptoms are I am getting odd behavior from my CC overall. Prior to this issue popping up, it was behaving just as any other car I've owned, if I had the defrost on I would only get air from above the dash and a tiny bit out of the vents that are fixed and aimed at the driver and passenger windows, now I seem to be getting full-force air coming from the adjustable driver and passenger vents, as well as air at the top of the dash when on defrost, and it intermittently and seemingly randomly has varying temperatures.

The other day I had the defrost set to warm since it was cold where I was (35*F), and I did feel the air coming from above the dash was hot, but the air from my driver's side adjustable vent was cold, and the passenger vent was warm just like the defrost air directed at the windshield. I admit I'm not sure how the blend door makes adjustments to the temperatures to keep the interior at whatever it's set at on the display, but I do know it shouldn't be blowing cold air out of one vent, hot out of the other, and hot out of the dash when on defrost. It also seems like there are some odd issues when set to "heat/footwell" mode and other settings. :help:

Could this be related to the climate control unit itself? Possibly the bad A/C compressor I am intending to replace ASAP?

Thank you!
