2006 - Pre-wired for seat heaters? Power seats?

I was installing Aux lights on my car last night and noticed some unused wiring harnesses under the center console. Specifically, there was a white connector (6 pin, I believe) that was part of the bundle that powers the 12v plug in the ashtray. I also noticed a connector further back on the passenger side (my car does not have the 112V port in the console, so maybe that is related).

This made me wonder, are our cars pre-wired for those options? If I purchased power/heated seats, would they just plug-in and work?

What about the 112V inverter?

The one connected to the bundle for your 12v plug is for the smokers kit which gives you 2 12v plugs.

I've got it in my car - it's really nice on longer trips.

I'm not sure about them bring prewired for heated seats but my guess would be that they are somehow since there were quite a few dealers that installed aftermarket leather and I'm assuming they would want the leather heated. There wouldn't have been so many of them doing it if it required too much work.

There are some options that are pre-wired but I do know that the heated seats and memory drivers seat are not pre-wired. The wiring is only on the limited's which use an entirely different dash harness.

When people have the aftermarket leather installed and opt for heated seats its an aftermarket kit that comes with its own harness.
