WMW tacked on some bolt holes up front that I simply could attached the fairing too. I picked up a used Yakima 43" fairing for $35 bucks. In order to not block the light bar, I trimmed about 3 inches off the top of the fairing.
Said and done, I was very impressed with the fit and finish of this rack. Everything lined up perfectly even with WMW's addition to my custom requests.

If I get the chance to order a rack from him one day I'll probably just ask for the Hojeepster edition then.

I did the mod myself...it took me two times before I was happy with the results.
I actually have a mesh insert in the lower grill too...just a little hard to see from the pics.

Yes, I got a new one with cree's.
Tinted the fogs with Lense Tint from Home Depot. 1 light coat.

Do you think it's any brighter? I know they're supposed to be more reliable but I'm just wondering if there's a noticeable difference in brightness.

I haven't driven with it at night, but on initial fire up, yes, it was noticably brighter with a more concentrated pattern (even though it's still a combo lense) so I'm assuming it will be brighter.
On other news, I went offroading today for my first time on more technical stuff. Truck handles great but I definitely need some skids now.

This is probably my favorite 4Runner right now. I'd like to get mine looking like this pretty soon.

I went out for the first test of the new 30" and 40" led bars. I have to say, I think the old 30" version (non cree) light bar was brighter and had a better beam pattern. Either that, or I got shipped a spot pattern and not the combo pattern. The light isn't nearly as robust as the old combo lense I had prior to it being cracked/broke. It may have better distance but narrower pattern, so I'm assuming it's the spot version. For anyone looking to purchase one of these, I'd go with the combo version instead.
The 40" single row combo is sick. Lights up the road fantastic, good beam pattern, and with the fairing no light hits the hood.
I'll take some photos, but it's basically going to be a blur of light. These things are bright.:tea:

You're the second person, maybe third, to tell me that they thought the Epistar LEDs were brighter... You'd think the opposite, especially considering price.

You can tell if it's combo because the outer LED reflector bowls will look kinda like spiderwebs. The spot reflectors are smooth.

Truck looks great man! Good call on having Josh fab up the threaded inserts for the fairing. It had crossed my mind but I couldn't decide how I was going to mount it...kicking myself a bit now haha.
With the light bar up top, does the fairing still do a solid job of keeping the rack noise/vibrations down?
