Well, to add to the complexity of adding the Tundra Fox versions to the 4runner, we found out the 16 inch remote resi hose is just too short, causing rubbing. To remedy this, we decided to get a 24 inch hose. However, fox charges almost $90 per hose! and they don't readily provide the specs on the hose.

So, if you plan on getting the Tundra versions, here is what you'll want:

1/2" X 24" JIC 8F X JIC 8F 4000 PSI HYD HOSE

1/2 x 24" JIC 8F x JIC 8F. For $14 bucks!

You'll obviously need to take these to a shop to get replaced, since the shocks will need to get re-pressurized and more oil. I'll post up how much that ends up costing me...but I found a place up in Windsor that rebuilds Fox truck shocks.

Sweet, that's a great price to get those rolling. How did you figure out the fitting?

I spent about 6 hours researching hydraulic hoses online. There was not a single source of information, so once i figure out one metric, I moved on to finding the next. Fox only posts the internal diameter "I.D". of the hose and stock length, but not the JIC fitting or nut size.

Impressions of the mevotech supreme lower control arms yet? I just went to the Kentucky Adventure Tour this weekend and my Moog bushings were clunking every little change in loading on the LCA and I don't want to deal with rebuilding them again, was considering the same arms you got.

They seem fine. It has eliminated clunks and squeeks I had before. I bought mine from Rock Auto, $250 ish for the pair.

I did not. A friend recommended just going to a hydraulic shop, but I ended up just doing my own leg work and finding what I think I needed online. Hopefully they work out.

I'm just waiting 2 weeks for our Utah Overland trip...Hurrah Pass > Lockhart Basin > Elephant Hill > Beef Basin for 5 days.:bounce: 100+ miles of dirt.

It's been a busy few weeks getting ready for our Canyonlands tour. I went ahead and installed the following:

Fox 2.5 Remote Resi with DSC Front
Fox 2.5 Tundra Remote Resi with DSC Rear
Icon Overland Springs
Extended rear brake lines
Oil Change
Mevotech lower control arms
SPC lower cam bolts
CBI Rear bumper with swingout, hi lift, jerry cans
RCI skid plates re-painted dark grey

I'm pretty stoked about the outcome. It's been 6 years of building, and never did I imagine having all these tools to go out and explore.

I'd recommend the Icon overland springs for those with a rear bumper, they seem to carry the weight very nicely. The Fox 2.5's are everything I thought my radflo's should be. I'm still deciding if these duratracs are going to last, or if I plan on upsizing to 34's. Its surprisingly difficult to decide whether fuel economy or beefy tires are a better option.

Wednesday we head out to Moab for 130+ miles of dirt...Hurrah Pass>Chicken Corners>Lockhart Basin>Elephant Hills> Bobbys Hole> Beef Basin loop with a few buddies. I can't wait.:target:

I like that rear bumper. I'm doing the overland springs before I get a bumper. I just wonder if it will be too high in the rear for the time being
