2006 Sport lifted - Need advice

I agree with soneric's thoughts on this one. Just seems odd they never sent a pic of the top of the coils/shocks/XREAS connections or spacers. Could be hiding something from you. There is a few spot down under towards the fuel tank that doesnt look like "just" surface rust so who knows.

Just a tip, before each winter clean real well and spray a couple cans of cooking oil (pam or something like it) under your trucks... you would be amazed of the salt protection it provides.

In the first pic it looks like it has a spacer in there. As for the rust on the frame that is normal. Just hit it with a guick under coat every spring and it will look nice.

I agree- spacer lift. Those are the stock coils. Just don't pay an extra for a "lifted truck" because spacer lifts are cheap and don't add any performance other than room for bigger tires.

The rust doesn't look like an issue- IF you're willing to deal with it. I've had trucks that looked like that. Best thing you can do is get a quart or two of rustoleum satin black paint from home depot/lowes, a wire brush, drop cloth and a brush, and spend a couple hours under there. It's messy, but the brushed on paint will last years vs just a few months with a thin coat of spray paint. Well worth the $50 and a few hours of your time.

Thanks everyone. I made plans to drive the six hours this wknd to pick up the vehicle, but recieved an email last night saying they sold the rig. I guess I should have put money down to hold it. The dealer was a little shady after talking with him a few times something didn't feel right.

I guess I continue to look. There are a ton of V6 4runners for sale I just don't know if I want the V6.
