What are the changes for the 2007 4Runners?

The only change that occurred is something called the end of life recycle of the rear view mirror. Makes it more bio degradable, and a button on the rear view mirror was eliminated. Whatever on off function it did in 2006, for 2007 it is always on. This is it, I would have purchased a 2006 model if I knew they were not going to change a darn thing.

I drove a couple of 2007s (a V6 and a V8) at the local dealership this weekend. I didn't see any different features that weren't offered on the 2006.

I believe the Canadian Limited models now offer memory seats as standard equipment

The seat memory was added to the Limited for 2006 in the U.S.

4 more DTC's were added

Cruise Control system has been changed to keep the set vehicle speed in memory even if the vehicle speed has dropped below the low speed limit.

and as stated above with the inside rear view mirror.

The 2007 Lexus GX470 received a new 5th generation navigation system also with enhancements to the bluetooth system. Big upgrade from the 05-06 4th generation version.

The Mark Levinson option is also capable of playing DVD, MP3 and WMA music files. The amp was changed from a 8 channel to a 10 channel amp for the surround sound system. A auxiliary jack was added for ipods, etc.

A new Rear Seat Entertainment System was added going from a 7" to a 9" display.
Also changed were the interior floor and deck carpet, scuff plates, cargo hooks and a few other small items.

What is the difference in carpet? Better quality? Difference texture? Color?

And what are DTC's?

DTC commonly means Diagnostic Trouble Codes, the codes the computer saves when it turns on the Check Engine Light.

There's no diffrence on an 06 and 07, i wanted to get an 06 (price and discounted) but the dealer i went to they do not have an 06 V6 4WD Sr5.

The 07 Lexus nav will not allow you to override the speed sensor, so you will not be able to use certain options on the nav/radio, when moving.

I thought this was already done in '05 or '06.

The carpet and other interior items that were changed or added were to the 07 Lexus GX470 only.

Do the mirrors look different? I have seen a few 2007 Limited's (auto-dimming mirror) and SR5's (manual) and didn't notice anything different.

according to the dealer, nothing visual changed with the exception of a very slight front end headlight difference that no one would ever notice.

The only reason i got one was because the GY option was a lot more avaliable with different setups.
