Companies are only as good as the product produced yesterday for the most part. Supposed aftermarket stainless steel mufflers with a lifetime guarantee are neither stainless nor have a warranty honored.
Buy once cry one I say, but $700 to replace it from the cats back with parts from the mother ship seems a bit much. But they did last 17years.
