2008 sport V8.......help decide

Pick up the truck and have it till lunch break. It rides and handles like a truck, love it. The only issue I heard or felt where, there seems to be a rattle coming from the moon roof, and the brakes stick when you are sitting at a stop light and go to take off a clunk sound comes from the brake area almost like they are stuck and let go. Other than that it is immaculate condition.

Have them check for a hung caliber on the brakes. Having said that 4runner brakes always clunk after a stop. And after sitting for a minute, you'll get a bigger clunk like you just got bumped from a car behind you. It's "normal", guess it has to the do the ABS system.

The rattle is probably the retraction cable that is part of the movement system. It SHOULD NOT have that, as it was supposedly remedied years before 2008...they should take care of that.

The "driveline clunk" is normal on T4R's and can be remedied by greasing the zerks OR switching the shaft out for a Lexus part.

I just drove it back and it did not make the noise. The driveline clunk sounds like the same thing on my CanAm Commander 1000X, which to them is also normal.

I applied for a loan waiting to hear back will hopefully be picking it up tomorrow. They are throwing in a set of Nokian Ipikes. Keeping my fingers crossed.
