2008 Toyo MT's 285/70/r16's for $740 shipped

It comes out to be a 32 inch tall tire with a 70 aspect so its smaller than the average 285 which is 75 for 16's.

Anyways What I am worried about is that these will look too aggressive for my rig's styling. And how on earth are the so cheap? Toyo MT's are typically a very expensive tire.

Does anyone have pics of Mud terrains on a close to stock limited T4R?

I really cannot picture it very well at all

Ok so your post title says 2008. If they were manufactured in '08 then they are halfway through their usable life even if they are "new". You can search for tire dates and come up with several stories why it is important and also that the rubber in tires starts to drastically change around the 6 year mark. That being said that is a great deal but is probably tied to the age of the tire already. If you drive 15K+ a year then you should be fine as the tires will probably only last about 35-50k miles so 3 years from now you will have worn them out anyways.

I'm guessing that you are sitting at stock height?
Stock wheels?
The 32" height won't be much of a problem.
The width (285) will cause some rubbing issues.
When turning they will probably rub the back of the front fender openings.
The width will probably cause rubbing on the upper control arms, UCA (front).

Even lifted 285s will rub under suspension compression. A little triming and pounding can minimize fender rubbing.

Lifting will not increase clearance with the UCA, it will actually decrease clearance.

Wheel spacers will increase UCA clearance but will increase fender rubbing because they increase the tires arc when turning.
