2009 4runner display problems

My radio in a 2009 4Runner is now not displaying the channels it's displaying an H followed by characters

Radio and cd are working but display is off

Any ideas?

You can try resetting it by unplugging the battery for a few minutes. I suspect that won't do much. Looks like the display got damaged somehow. If that doesn't work:

Options:
1) dealer: nope, they will want to replace it ($$$$). Do you have a warranty??
2) repair it: could/most likely costly. Just the display is shot.
3) Browse ebay. I thought I saw someone buy one cheap (less than $100) not too long ago.
