Ivan is back at it again at the Baja 1000 with the 5th Gen 4Runner!
Toyota is running BFG's this year and using their pits so a win will probably be in order!lol:hungry:
Anybody please post up any info,pics,videos or links to blogs and such if you can find it.

Ok... the FourWheeler SEMA truck had long travel suspension but lacked KDSS.

Toyota used a KDSS equiped 4Runner to complete the Rubicon Trail and the same truck to run the Baja 1000.

So, does anybody have any info on whether KDSS was left intact on the Baja truck?

It looks like the front KDSS sway bar is still attached in this pic, but it isn't super clear.

Still racing!They are in 2nd about 50 miles behind the Skilton team which I believe is a Honda with over 200 miles to go . Ivan Stewart usually drives the last leg.Pretty sure they were either stuck or broke down during the night as they were at 0 mph and in the same place for hours last night.

The original poster listed long travel suspension... I guess he was incorrect. Toyota lists it as an OME 2.5" lift.

I put this on 120 and figured I'd put it on here too in case anyone is interested.

Just finished looking through the new Four Wheeler and I saw that they're using the 2010 TE that won their Four Wheeler of the Year to build up an overlander.

Plans include:
long travel suspension
front locker
33x12.50 MTs
rooftop rack/tent
front bumper/winch/lights
rear bumper w/ tire carrier
sliders
solar power for charging cameras/laptops
interior platform for the rear to accomodate onboard air, fridge, tools, etc (possibly a shower)

There is an Oshkosh MATV racing? I saw that black one in the video. I cant even imagine racing one of those for 1000 miles. They must have softened the suspension a little bit caused it could get harsh sometimes. Wayy smoother than an MRAP but still bumpy.

No thanks! I rode in a MRAP once and was thankful I was foot mobile ever since.

Apparently the once in the Baja 1000 has a newer suspension, diesel electric and bunch of other stuff. Still wouldnt want to ride in one that far.
