That is his old system that he installed in his truck when he got it. Since then he stopped the prototyping because of engine management problems and supply issues (or something).
So I say again, no help for us 4Runner guys. I still keep my fingers crossed that URD will start with the 5th Gens again.

soooo..... hey dudes..... i been waiting just like you guys and i want one too.
if TRD went thru the years of hassle with getting it CARB approved and spend hundreds of thousands on it and got the "ok" in late 2013 i wonder why they would drop it. has anyone actually called a toyota dealer and asked for a parts guy to pull up the TRD PTR29-00130 and PTR29-00131 and get them to order it? i dunno if or why but i just read all the way from page 32 to the end cause thats where i left off last time i read up on this. all them pages and no stoopercharger. i never once read of one person that called and actually tried to order it. so that is my goal for tomorrow, trying to order one from somewhere or find someone who has the necessary info to find out what happened, is it real, are they sitting in a warehouse at toyota needing a part or what. or just waiting to be shipped when someone ponys up and shells out the $5500 they want for it.
when the TRD SC was released for the 1GRFE in the 2005+ trucks the announcement was made in late 2007 and i ordered my tacoma literally the next week. i ordered the SC the day i ordered the truck. it was new and i paid $5300 for it, and then an additional $900 for a dealer to do the install and reflash and all. i can guarantee you thats the BEST money i have ever spent on that truck. i have 200,000 miles and the SC was installed at 10,000 (waited for motor to break in) and i have had at least 20,000 of those miles at full throttle drag racing. i absolutely love it. the rods are weak they are powdered metal now in these V6 so you cant cram a ton of boost on top of them but at lower boost 5-7psi they are an absolute maniac and so much fun. i have been waiting for the SC so i can install on my 2012 LE it needs it SOOOO bad its a big slush box with the big tires i have on it.
i will call and find out all the info i can tomorrow and report back.

I mean this in the nicest way possible but who cares? It's not a production part so you will be doing an exercise in futility. Sort of like going to the gym after eating ice cream and before drinking eight beers.
