Wow, that's not bad at all. I think I was expecting a styling disaster based upon the early prototype photos, but it looks pretty good to me.

I totally dig the body styling. It looks great! Ford did a good job with that in my opinion. Now if they could just do away with their tacky and primitive blue Ford logo. It just makes me think cheap american crap car. If it had a nice fancy, maybe oval badge with a classy F on the front then I'd be like...yay!

Either way, I did it. Looks nice.

That's almost the same exact HP rating of your 2003 V8 4Runner! Not bad for a little 2.0L. I'm sure it's not so great in the torque department though...
Ford Explorer 2.0 EcoBoost:
Ahh it needs to be @ 1750-4000 inorder to have 250 lb.-ft (torque)

While the 4Runner 2003 V8(non-VVTI) = 320 ft-lbs. at 3400 rpm.

Really not bad...I'm sure its a headache to all competitors. I'm interested in the 2.0L.

And the Limited have HID as option. Do we have HID as option in 4Runner 5th Gen?

Wow, that's not bad....250 lb.ft. of torque at just 1750 RPM? Thanks to the forced induction for sure...

No HID option for the 5th gen 4Runner. Hell, they don't even have projectors on the 5th gen anymore. Maybe they'll bring them back in 2013 for the mid-cycle update that typically happens.

I'm impressed. Let's wait for the reviews and see if the quality will be as good

I think Ford has stepped up on their quality/reliability for the past few years now. It's just good to see that now there are two (Grand Cherokee and Explorer) decent looking SUVs that have been recently redesigned.

I saw it on the news this morning that Ford is launching the '11 Explorer ads. Must've been a slow news morning.

Anyways, I got to admit it's quite a good looking SUV. It's car based, which IMO, Ford should've given it a different name. Ford is definately mounting a comeback with their recent redesigns.

Tomorrow..:naughty:

Can a grown man drool like a baby? :reddance:

Ford needs to bring back the Bronco name...such a strong name...hopefully, they won't base it on the Escape or Taurus! Can you imagine a Rubicon-capability Bronco with Ford's recent boost in quality and technology?? Wow, i just wet myself....

If given a Ford Exploder I'd sell it!

I've got to say Ford makes some cool, tough looking, bad *** sounding vehicles! Maybe I should stop here... For laughs I googled Ford off road. THE SITE WAS DOWN FOR REPAIRS! Sound familiar. The only Fords I've seen "off road" were waiting for the tow truck!

Ford needs to bring back the Bronco name...

As much as I do like Broncos, I'm really sick and tired of companies bringing cars back from the dead. Let's stop living in the past and make some new awesome cars. Is it so hard to just make something badass that can appeal to the audience the Bronco had? Cars like the Charger, NSX, SHO, etc should just be named something else. A breath of fresh air wouldn't kill the companies.
