2012 vs 2013 Seats -- not in the manual

I have the option to get some salvaged seat covers off a 2012 4runner and I can't seem go figure out if the 2nd row will fit or not -- I figure the first will. Looking at the Katzskin website, it appears they are the same. That said, I saw some info on here where folks said the 2nd row was redesigned for the 2013. Can anyone confirm that 2012 seat covers will fit the 2013. For fun and future inquiry, will 2012 fit the 2014? I looked at pics and can't tell the difference.

2012's should fit 2013. In 2014 Toyota changed the back of the front seats (knee cut outs so rear passengers have more leg room). Not sure if they would fit, but should since 2014 was just a mid-cycle refresh.

The center folding portion changed but not sure what year. I know my 2011 2nd row is different from a 2013

That's right.. I think there are/were different folding options too. I think it also depends on if you have third row seats or not.. I was just thinking about the front seats.. Good catch Stifler.

Makes sense that there would be different rear seats if the truck has 3rd row -- I don't have a third row and the salvage does, my guess is that they won't fit.
