I asked Ceasar at lightwerkz if he could do my halos that way. He didn't know how but all you have to do is run the wire taps to the DRL on the runner which is the same as the turns. You also need to install an in-line resistor so you don't get hyper flash. Works great! It's how mine are done.

Lightwerkz can do the other style too. I just liked the halo look better. They do pretty much whatever you want. It's only $$$!

Yeah saw lightwwerks....and they are $$$..but sometimes you gotta do what you gotta do...ha...boss let.me buy a hot rod so lights are a payback

so do your halos blink with your DRLs when you use a turn signal? I want to install some amber LED lights in the grill similar to the Raptor - just don't want them to be blinking with the turn signals...

Yes, the halos blink as turns. You would have to install a separate switch and the ambers would have to be switched on and off manually. The blinkers and DRL are the same light on the 2010-2013 (I think they are as well on 2014-15...).

should be easy then for those that don't want the DRL to flash. I actually wanted that specifically since my turns went away when I did my bumper. I can run the fogs as DRL if I want to as well.

How much did the retrofit source charge you? Do you now what projectors they ended up using for your HID upgrades as well?

How long was the turn around?

There is a very long post on this lighting upgrade. Short version- Oracle completely jacked up my lights and tried to screw me. Matt at The Retrofit Source caught wind of the situation and stepped up by offering a complete lighting upgrade at no cost. So there was no charge.

The actual build was about a week, but they used a local installer in Houston

I did supply the lights. Surprisingly, you can get a brand new set from your dealer for less than $500.

do you know what work was done and what projector housings were used? I recall something about a company cutting someone's lights open and that not being acceptable. I thought it was a different person than yourself.

TRS ended up adding dual projectors. The small on is located where the DRL was. It is a Mini Morimoto. I don't know what was used for the large projector and I am sure they can tell you. One cool thing that I really liked is they etched "Unlimited" on the projector lens. Which I love since I call mine and Unlimited.
