So, first I am new to the forum. Been reading many of your posts for the last several months anonymously as I explore my new vehicle purchase options. Thank you for posting lots of great information.
I just got back from test driving a Black 2013 SR5 with the upgrade package + 3rd row and a left over Shoreline Blue 2012 Limited (only 200km on it). To be honest, I didn't find the suspension that much different between the 2 rides and I also preferred the feel of the 2WD. Did a short stint of city driving and less than 10km of moderately hilly highway driving. Both rode great- LTD a little snappier over bumps.
In Canada, it seems, we get a little less in terms of customization. My only beef with the SR5 is the plastic wheel-well trim/fender flares (I want them body coloured like the LTD) and the lack of chrome accents on the back (4Runner rear chrome badge) and perhaps the grill. How easy is it to acquire these and would I expect a reasonable cost to do so? I can live with the small touch-screen, and mediocre wheels (could always buy new rims and use the OEM 17s as winter tires). Aside from auto temp controls, there really isn't much of a difference between the 2 IMO. Can't see the value in spending $5k more for the LTD.
That being said, what are your thoughts on my rationale above? Also, is it easy to add-on these trivialities after buy (assuming I do). Any further insight or thoughts are greatly welcomed. I am sorry if I've duplicated a thread- didn't see anything that addressed my specific concerns.
Also, CDN MRSP is $44,420 + freight for Upgrade Pkg and $49,085 for LTD. The 2012 was listed for just over $45k including freight/fees. I know invoice is about $4k lower than MRSP as well. Thank you in advance!

. I was hoping some of the forum pros could point me in the right direction to get body coloured flares and chrome accents (really only care about rear 4runner badge and front grille). Anyone have suggestions pls?
